Team – Robert J. Drago

Robert (Rob) Drago was appointed president of Bakewise Brands in May 2008.  A third generation food industry executive, he possesses over 20 years of sales, marketing and operations management experience with companies including Goya Foods, Rich Products Corporation and eDiets.com.  Mr. Drago holds a BS in finance from Babson College and an MBA from the University of Buffalo and also serves on the Bakewise board of directors.

An active member of the community, he has held a variety of non-profit board positions at organizations including the Food Bank of Western New York, Goodwill Industries of Buffalo and the Daily Bread Food Bank in Miami. He currently serves on the board of Crestwood Children's Center in Rochester, New York and is a member of the Parish Council at Saint Louis RC Church in Pittsford, New York.

Drago was honored by Buffalo Business First magazine as a “Forty Under 40” award winner in 1999. His efforts in developing a partnership between Goya Foods and the Buffalo Public School System earned him a “Pathfinder in Education” award from the Buffalo Alliance for Education in 2002.  He is a member of Leadership Buffalo (Class of 1996) and was chosen from a select group of community leaders to attend the prestigious FBI Citizens' Academy in 2002.

Rob and Annmarie Drago reside in Pittsford, New York with their four children (Andrew, Alexander, Matthew and Jack).
