United Way Honors Fleischer's Bagels
Macedon, NY: The United Way of Wayne County, New York recently honored Fleischer’s Bagels with its 2009 New Initiative Award, awarded annually to those companies that have successfully completed their first United Way Corporate Fundraising Campaign.
This year’s drive was spearheaded by Senior Human Resources Generalist Margaret Rathmell, who accepted the award on the company’s behalf at a recent awards ceremony. The company also honored Shift Manager Jeff Jones and the entire B Shift with a special shift party for achieving 100% employee participation in this year’s campaign.
